Cubix (ガンダムキュービックス) is a prototype, modular robot that is capable of transforming into a number of vehicles and weapons.
He is an experimental prototype, originally created by Professor Nemo and later owned by Connor. His main feature is that he can reconfigure his body into a variety of different types of vehicles, including a hover bike, a makeshift jet for One, and a helicopter. He can even fly without the need to transform into a vehicle.

Its body is composed of a number of modular cubes and constructed out of an unknown composite alloy (theorized to be Gundanium), a metal that is capable of withstanding devastating amounts of external damage. Even a high-powered laser cutter couldn't leave so much as a scratch on it. Each cube contains a different gadget with a solution to almost every dire situation. When it comes to fighting, Cubix is exceptionally strong. His power is generated by Solex, which is rumored to be the ultimate power source, but nobody knows exactly how it works.
Cubix has an orange symbol on the back of his head, which is later revealed to be the mark of Professor Nemo, who put the mark on all robots that he designed personally.
Character History[]
An unspecified number of years before the start of the series; Cubix was just a layout of modular cubes awaiting final assembly in Professor Nemo's laboratory. Nemo chose the Cubix Prototype to test the first batch of crystallized Solex, But it would be years before he would get see his creation in action, thanks to the lab explosion and his kidnapping...
Cubix's components survived intact, though, how he worked was an enigma. Because he hadn't been fully tested; his design was never mass produced, leaving him as the only one of his kind. The Robix-Corp engineers decided to let the Professor's daughter; Hela, have first pick on the tech that belonged to her father. Hela Brought Cubix's components to her own robot repair shop; the "Botties' pit" and tried to finish what her father started.
Despite her best efforts, Hela couldn't get Cubix to function, or bring herself to scrap him, so (out of sentiment), she just left him in the back of the shop's storage shed, gathering dust.
At the start of the series, he is offline and inactive, and no one can figure out how to get him to work, giving him the nickname "The Unfixable Robot". However, the idea of friendship seems to be a key concept in order to activate him; when Connor says the word "friend" while saying goodbye after unsuccessfully trying to fix him; Cubix starts to repeat this word inside his head, clearly generating some kind of response to it. Connor risks his own life trying to save Cubix from the collapsing building. This action jump-starts Cubix's E.P.U., who then saves both himself and Connor from the collapsing roof. Successfully repairing Cubix also granted Connor membership into the 'Botties' group.
In the First season finale; Cubix sacrifices himself during the battle against Kulminator, flying directly into its E.P.U. The ensuing destruction drains Cubix's own Solex reserve, exploding along with Kulminator's Solex energy. His body remained intact, but having no Solex left to power him; Cubix shuts down and is unable to be revived by Connor, Hela, or even Professor Nemo. However, he is later rebooted after the remains of the crystallized Solex coalesce and fly directly towards him. Cubix claims it was Connor's determination and continued belief in him that caused the Solex to revive him.
At first; Cubix initially has poor speech capability (possibly because of him being a prototype, or because he did not have enough Solex to operate at full capacity, or perhaps just because Connor messed with something that didn't need repairing with while trying to fix him up (just like with Don-Don, the previous day)), and usually, he just repeats what people around him say, even though speaking seems to be common place among other robots. However, after he absorbs more Solex and reboots, his speech functions improve drastically and he becomes capable of forming complete sentences and dialogue, much to everyone's surprise...
His screen eyes also change to reflect his mood or emotions.

Weapons & Gadgets[]
Laser Chainsaw - Forming where his hand usually would; it can cut through thick metal, such as a car door, which he never uses it for battle combat,
Wrist Fans - Stored in each gauntlet, the twin mini turbine fans are so powerful, that at full power; Cubix can blow even Kolossal away, he manages to use his Wrist Fans to save blow up to Chip and Abby on timing while they are falling to death.
Hydraulic Jack - He has a hydraulic Jack in one of (perhaps both) his gauntlet/s. Useful for widening a gap on a crushed car door. It can even withstand the crushing power of Krab's powerful Vice.
Drill - His green cube contains a drill, useful for construction, or mining or as a weapon. (e.g. tearing through Kilobot's Wings)
Zip-line -
- His Right Gauntlet cube contains a 2-direction launcher that fires out (in two opposite directions) a Wire Rope with an electro-magnet attached to each end. Which can be used as a Zip-line.
- pulse rope - he can launch the pulse rope to tight down on Kilobot but fail, with Jet mode he able wipe around entire of Giant Zombot around turn into ball.
Life net - one time he manages save Charle from falling on Sky by using his Net as life net.
Spinning Gauntlet Shield - His Right Gauntlet cube has attached to it a disk with a thin bar, which (when spinning rapidly) acts as a Gauntlet Shield. The bar appears to be able to unfold a thin flat layer of composite metal that reaches round the disc in a 350° (approx.) circle. It is able to block light attacks. When Cubix is supercharged on his Solex energy; he can generate a Solex turquoise force shield emitting from his gauntlet shield. it can also act as a light projectile, or as a positionable block on small Signal relays. It's also had screen to which Conner talk Chip in Negator of his feeling during battle, he throws his Gauntlet Shield to DummyN's Antenna so it Spinning able to shut down DummyN including Constructix
Shoulder Arm Claws - His upper arm Cubes contain within each of them a small 3-pronged gripper claw, which appears to be useable as either additional grip, or as a circuit connection to disperse a huge amount of energy in a controlled way.
Energy Web Spray - On one occasion, Cubix showed he had the ability to fire Energy webs that have the same Glow as the Solex that powers him. These webs don't do damage, but they do trap foes (at least better than domestically available web traps).
Stabilizer Legs - Should it be caught in a strong force (such as a hurricane of wind, or a great magnetic force) Cubix use stabilizer legs on grounded and grab Maximix even use it while he captures Konfusion great catching skill.
Cube Disk Covers - Eight disks covering his modular limbs can be used as Frisbee projectiles against foes also cut throw Klawber Most certainly can launch all of his disks as a multiple strike attack, he manages his disk on his cheat to prevent Kilobot from absorb cables to his EPU and defense hockey puck in hockey goal,
Rocket Smoke bomb - Cubix can launch Rocket from both shoulders at Giant Zombot to make big smoke.
Durability - Cubix able to withstand take damage from any opponent's attack he unable refused to give up fight Cubix even withstand Negator's powerful shockwaves
Cannon blaster- Cubix have his gun power while he on Cubix Copter for first time even he doesn't use Cannon Blaster on Robot mode.
- Electric Net - it allows both Connor and Cubix shoot with Electric Net on to trap them it didn't do damage, but it can shoot them with Electric net.
- Turbo - Cubix switch Cannon Blaster turn into Turbo when he got Connor plane toy to connecting Connor's plane.
- Pulse Solex - Cubix fight with Cannon shoot Kulminator which causing powerful to shake inside Dr. K plotting on his mech.
Flashlight - in CirKus Cubix use Flashlight on his head.
Vision - Cubix can scan anything he seen crack on Giant Bugar building he doesn't want put Connor and Abby risk, able to scan weak spot like Kan-it on Giant junk form to underground Negator through Clip, thanks to Dondon's advice that Endurix's blind sport on back, Cubix scanning Kilobot on Endurix's form to seen Endurix's weak spot and find Delishix bury somewhere
Mastery Crystallized Solex - Thanks to Professor Nemo giving him Crystallized Solex; Cubix had a huge reserve of power, able to use it for Desperate situations thanks to Connor encourage Cubix when Cubix activated Solex very powerful he push Krab away sending flying, Such as emitting it through his Spinning Gauntlet Shield, Channeling power through the Bottie's pit Force Shield emitter poles to make Stronger defense which Dr. K focus his robots to retreated as he got nothing to do with Force Field Shield
When Cubix got shot down by Kulminator's Solex Blast Cannon, he unable move from stun of Solex Blast Cannon until he was able to resist being drained & absorbed the energy draining field. Then transfomed into a Cannon blaster himself, and shot back at Kulminator with an equally powerful Solex Pulse-blast attack, then he made ultimate Sacrifice himself to use full power of Crystallized Solex and fly charged himself using his own Solex and flew into Kulminator, striking its EPU, destroying it with Raska inside, on ending Somehow Solax bring Cubix back to life able to speak, During the entire season 2 Cubix can't use his Crystallized Solex anymore after the battle with Kulminator and never use it against Kilobot since he have a heath solex limited. doesn't want repeat what happen, unknown why he unable to use Crystallized Solex in past before
Hand-To-Hand Combat/Unarmed and Armed combat - Cubix has been shown to fight in hand-to-hand combat with attacks and counterattacks on foes, able to grab melee Opponent and throw and send flying it but not limited to: Kolossal, Katastrophe, Negator, Tyrannix, Endurix, Quixtreme 5000, Constructix, Large Zombot and mostly often, Kilobot but with Power Up Module Thanks to Connor and others powered Cubix up able to help him fight with Speed and Strength defeat Tyrannix, and Endurix, but almost defeat large and muscle opponents like Constructix when his Power up Module crashing and wasting too much Solex testing Power Up Module ready to face Kilobot
Super Strength - Cubix so stronger than Kolossal he able to throw Kolossal through building construction area super damage, he manage save Conner and rest others by holding the Giant Sign and throw back to Kolossal and Katastrophe, he even manages to save Ixtinguish from Kolossal by use Super Strength gran throw Kannon to Kolossal to knock away, Cubix always fought Kolossal for multiple time, wresting on Katastrophe in Hand-to-hand combat, he able break Negator's Torso's cockpit hatch glass.
Reflex - Cubix has (for his blocky design) surprisingly great Reflexes and a fast processor for a just as good Reaction time. Providing he knows what he is up against (and that there are no surprise ambushes); he can dodge almost any enemy's attack.
Power Up Module[]

Cubix has a power up module with additional parts that, when added to his structure, drastically increase his strength and speed. However, the added parts require a massive amount of power when installed and must be removed within three minutes of activation or Cubix's power source will overload, and he will blow up.
- Knuckle Brass - Cubix has first time with weapon with his power up module he can fight in real combat against Kilobot able to punch powerful enough to counterattack boulder and objects break through objects by Constructix one who throw objects to Cubix, or mentor
- Cannon Shoulder - Cubix able to shoot Solex Kilobot it trap Kilobot so Security robot can shoot Kilobot to disable but Kilobot defect them back, Cubix has to shoot Solex to trap him but it won't last long as he uses too much power
When he equips the power-up module, he appears to gain the ability to teleport. His appearance also changes slightly, as his visor (field of vision) appears to narrow (covering up more of his visor than normal).
Weaknesses[]
-Cubix has no protection from other modular robots from interfering with his transformation capabilities by inserting their own parts into Cubix when he transforms. Kilobot has done this when Cubix was changing into his normal configuration by adding his parts into Cubix's form, merging them both, forming "Kilo-Cubix".
Cubix is offline he never turns on for long time no one can't fix Cubix to fix his EPU turn back on to fix not even Hela, Abby, Clip and Mong
Solax Limit - Conner encourage get up to fight back Dr. K's Robots then Cubix respond then activated his power Solax to push Krab back then using his small arms to grab a Bottie's pit Force Shield emitter poles as emitting it through his Spinning Gauntlet Shield, Channelling power through the Bottie's pit Force Shield emitter poles to make Stronger defense Dr. K focus his Robots retreat after he won, he just faint after he done with battle by using Solax power too long and Power Up Module to try to hold Kilobot with Solax longer until he was exhausted with Power up Nodule using his Solax too long he has to remove or He'll explode
Kannon's Chopping Robots - Cubix is Vulnerability to Kannon's Chopping Robots that eat through metal doesn't stop until they eliminate to Cubix unable to handling it
Antix bombs - those mini bots aren't regular robot It's bomb-like Solax those robots can't remove until they explode Cubix offline that Cubix unable turn back on
Magnet - since Cubix made of metal he vulnerable for magnet
Stamina limited - Cubix unable to fight because he too exhausted from heavy attack after cubix use Spinning Gauntlet Shield for long from Wing Dings of Kilobot or using his Solax
Focus Field cage - Cubix unable break free in Dr. K's Focus Field cage with his super strength.
Kilobot's Arachnibot - Cubix trying to save Maximix from explode entire inside of Bubble Tower try to pull out of Arachnibot bomb to remove it when he touches that turn into rust even his powered up module unable to help Maximix to pulling out Arachnibot he doesn't care that turn into rust of his safety but he risks his life to no matter what he try remove Arachnibot Bomb save Maximix if Maximix was response.
EPU - Kilobot know only way to end of Cubix permanent death by crush his EPU so he won't able come back to life again
Solarix - Cubix is too Vulnerable from Kilobot's ball of fiery energy after Kilobot grown stronger than before
Trivia[]
- Though Cubix was never mass produced; The Indestructix crash test dummies' reconfigurable body was based moderately on his design.
- Cubix is similar to Bumblebee they both can't speak, and they lose their voice box which Megatron rip Bumblebee's voice box and Cubix unable to speak after he was create by Professor Nemo somehow, they manage to restore with Solax and All Spark their voice box they able to speak again.
