A Frankenstein's monster-esque robot; Kolossal is the brute of Dr. K's forces. Not too intelligent and continuously relies on his master for orders, but almost equal to Cubix in combat prowess. Kolossal serves as Cubix's main rival in the first season of the show.

Kolossal is equipped with various weapons and tools. His left hand is a large tri-pronged claw that can be launched to grab things at a distance. He also has a detachable floating pod on his left shoulder where Dr. K is able to sit. Although bulky; he is capable of limited flight and agile high jumps. Most of the time he uses only brute force to win. Without his master's continuous coordination, however; he can only complete basic tasks.

Personality[]

Kolossal is pretty much loyal to Dr.K, he does not speak much, only rarely and most of the time It consists of "Destroy". He is heavily based off of the infamous Frankenstein monster, also he have defending program from protecting from trespassers

Role in the series[]

Season One

Kolossal was used in all but one mission in Dr. K.'s search for Solex. When the hunt began; He was merely intended to be used for a swift retrieval of the Solex infected robots, with minimal resistance, But he did not anticipate interference from Cubix. By the time the Solex infected Indesposix model was detected, Dr. K. Decided to send another of his retrieval robots to aid Kolossal. First; Katastrophe, then; Kannon, then; Krab, and finally; Klawber. They were all defeated by Cubix, with occasional help from Maximix and Cerebrix.

in Office Politix - Dr. K sent Krab, Klawber, Katastrophe and Kannon (for some reason, Kolossal was not sent along with them) to storm the Botties' pit and take their collected Solex by force. but Cubix repelled all their might, and in doing so; revealed he was powered by Crystallised Solex. After Cubix was blown to bits by the Antix bombs; Kolossal and Klawber salvaged his remains.

in Kubix/The Doctor's Office - When Conner and others seen All Dr. K Robots but they are in sleep mode Mong decide to (overconfidently) teased on Kolossal while he was in standby mode but Mong overdid it and awakened Kolossal from his recharge slumber. Mong quickly realized what he'd done, and Kolossal started attacking the intruders. In an attempt to grab them with his Tri-Pronged claw, so Connor distract Kolossal to buy him sometime for others. He accidentally knocked down Katastrophe, whose cockpit opened up. The Bottie's quickly took advantage of the situation, and (with difficulty adapting to the controls) used Krab, Klawber, Katastrophe and Kannon to subdue Kolossal, and for a while, they had him pinned down, but Abby (piloting Kannon) had trouble steering and accidentally gave Kolossal the chance he needed to break free of their grasp. He was getting really mad at this point, Kolossal battle with Abby and others on cockpit, Clip prepare finish Kolosal up by unleash entire missiles Bubble Missile but missed end up knock out Mong in Katastrohpe which Abby in Kannon and Clip in Krab causing Blind temporary Kossal have change by shoot projectiles at Clip in Krab and use Tri-Pronged claw on Abby in Kannon to slam hard he defeat them that others doesn't know how to control work

in Kulminator

Season Two

In Roller Koaster - Dr. K. Brought Kilobot's Protoform to life and Dr. K uses Kolossal as testing on Kilobot's ability, Kilobot proved swift, and agile, and latched his cables onto Kolossal, downloading his physical and performance data, and quickly put his stolen form and abilities to the test. Unlike Kolossal, himself; Kilobot's impersonation of him looked newer, shinier, and lacked the "I Heart Dr. K." on his chest plating.

in Media Storm - After weeks to months of inactivity, he tried to capture Celsi-ix (who was blown into Dr. K.'s airbase: Kontraption), but Celsi-ix generated lightning bolts, severing the brute's claw and then reduced the temperature enough to freeze Kolossal on the spot.

in CirKus - After all Circus robots & captured slaves had escaped the hidden mobile base; Dr. K showed up and he was upset to find that the base was completely deserted. Kilobot spoke in Kolossal's direction, stating his disappointment in His master's constant failures...

in Klank - Despite being outclassed and effectively replaced by Kilobot; Kolossal remained loyal to Dr. K.. When they visited the ruins of his childhood home, Kilobot was starting to show signs of a resentful and rebelious attitude to his master. In a flurry of sentimental memories, Dr. K. accidentally reactivated his Kung-fu practice Robot and it started to attack him. He asked Kilobot to help, but Kilobot felt it was beneath him, and refused to help, and had the audacity to tell Kolossal to "let him fend for himself". However, Kolossal showed his loyalty, grabbed the Kunk-fu bot, and disposed of it, saving his grateful master.

in The Importance of Being Maximix - Kolossal had no significant role in this episode. One of Dr. K.'s spybots gave a technology development update from inside Robix-corp's labs. Professor Nemo had developed a Cloning Module, Dr. K.saw a way to create army, and while distracted; Kilobot went off on his own in an attempt to steal Professor Nemo's Cloning Module. Kilobot succeeded and presented the cloning module to Dr. K., who, in turn put it to use immediately, manufacturing an army of Zombots.

in War Triangle - while Kilobot hacked password Master Control Module changing the password, planing to betray Dr. K, who sent the first batch of Zombots ahead to terrorise Bubbletown. After a fierce fight with Cubix in an effort to conquer Robix-corp; Kilobot made his move, betraying Dr. K. and announcing his planned takeover of humanity. Kolossal also (apparently) turned his back on Dr. K. and he picked up Dr. K in a threatening way. In panic; Dr. K demanded that Kolossal put him down and Kolossal obliged (in the way Dr. K didn't want), throwing him to the ground. (It's not fully clear if Kolossal was only pretending to side with Kilobot, or really was betraying his master).

in Final Showdown - He and several small Zombots guarded the Master Control Module atop of Robix-corp and they ambushed the flying car which Conner, Mong, Chip & Dr. K. were piloting to reach the rooftop. As the Zombots tried to attack them: Kolossal fought back, tearing through the Zombots, then placing Dr. K. in his left shoulder where the hover pod would sit. Dr. K asked if Kolossal was "back on his side now?", to which Kolossal answered "yes". It turned out Kolossal never really turned on Dr. K. after all, and was biding his time. Dr. K quickly thanked his favourite and most loyal robot. Then, Kiobot realised that Dr. K. and the Botties were trying to shut down the Master Control Module, so he flew up and, aming at Dr. K., fired Energy Pulse Rings at him, but Kolossal took the blunt of Kilobot's firepower, defending Dr. K.. Kolossal Stood on, looking where Kilobot was temporarily down, while Dr. K looked from behind Kolossal's legs, mocking Kilobot, but Kilobot recovered and dug himself out of the tower wreckage and tried to Kill Connor, but Cubix (equipped with his booster pack) distracted Kilobot long enough for Dr. K to shout the shutdown code to Conner, the Master control Module shut down at last, and the entire Zombot army shut down too, and all robots in Bubbletown were freed of the Zombot mind control. The war was over, but Kilobot refused to stand down and (in a last great effort) tried to crush Cubix's E.P.U., and Kolossal just stood and watched their final confrontation. It is unknown what happened to Dr. K. and Kolossal after that...

Weaponry & Mobility[]

Right Hand: Kolossal's Right hand functions like a normal human hand, with Three digits and a pose-able thumb. He can launch his whole Gauntlet on a retractable chain, as a substitute when his Tri-Pronged Claw is not in use. It packs a punch, too.

Tri-Pronged Claw - Mounted as an alternative to a left hand; Kolossal can launch his claw on an extendable bar to a limited range and grab his target. He can also retract it with ease to pull his target in. He can even use it to grapple onto high points & pull himself up or lower himself down.

Pounding Mallet: As an alternate signature weapon of choice; Kolossal has a Tough Steel Mallet which he can attach to where his Tri-Pronged Claw is usually mounted. The Mallet delivers heavy damage to anything he swings it at, but his reaction time is slow, resulting in little accuracy. On unstable surfaces, too many mis-strikes will cause the platform he is on to fall apart beneath him.

Left Shoulder Cockpit: Kolossal's Left Shoulder has a special slot for Dr. K. to park his hover pod, and observe from a secure position. (Whether this is the equivalent of Piloting Kolossal Manually or not is never explored). With enough force; the hover pod can be knocked out of Kolossal's shoulder if Kolossal himself is knocked back by a great force...

Left Shoulder Mounted Light: Though not particularly special, Kolossal's Light aids his vision in dark places.

Right Shoulder Projectiles: Kolossal carries Cone-shaped Hazard striped projectiles mounted & fired from his upper right shoulder...

  • A Flash Grenade. Capable of blinding opponents with a bright flare.
  • Snare trap. One projectile carries one sturdy cord, which wraps around an opponent, and using locks on the end of the cones, bind each half of the cone together tying up the opponent. Kolossal would fire several of these in one go at his primary target.
  • Of course; Kolossal can also fire these projectiles just as a blunt instrument forcing back opponents to give him time to deal with other targets.

Right Elbow Joint Bomb: In rare circumstances, Kolossal carries a small bomb (a black sphere, decorated with yellow eyes and a sharp toothy smile mouth) which is stored secretly in his right upper arm. Opening a hinge between his right lower arm and elbow, The bomb is supposed to shoot out like a projectile. Though small; it packs a powerful explosive upon impact.

Hover Propultion Thrusters: Mounted on the rear of his right leg, Kolossal's thrusters allow him to hover above ground and travel for a limited distance. To him; it is a faster way of mobility than walking. Fuel/Gas canisters are mounted on his back, because of this feature. (For some reason [a production design error, probably]: the thrusters point upward, and should, by logic, be pushing him down instead)

Steam/Smoke Vents - Kolossal has several vents spread around his body. When He gets mad; more steam/smoke vents out than usual.

Solar Powered Laser: Only used once; Kolossal has (built into a round vent the left side of his chest) a circular satellite dish shaped laser with enough concentrated power to burn through several yards of rock very powerfully as death ray.

Umbrella: Only used once During Kan-it's Solex fit; Kolossal carried a special electrical umbrella designed to shield his body from the force of strong electro-magnetic fields. Presumably; it was built using non-magnetic materials. Though, if knocked out of his hand; Kolossal would be pulled in by the magnetic force.

Trivia[]

In the original Korean version; his name is Scavenger, he is silent and rarely (if ever) speaks.

In the 4Kids Entertainment English dub; his name was changed and he speaks in a deep modulated voice, usually saying his name before an action (for instance, "Kolossal, destroy!"). However, he has been shown to be able to form full sentences.

Kolossal size as 10 ft tall
